Conexkt @TED in Vancouver
Reflecting on the latest ideas and trends
Conexkt is looking forward to being part of this year’s TED Conference in Vancouver, from April 15 to 19.
TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 110 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world. (Source: TED)
This year, Johann Roduit of Conexkt will be leading a “Table Talk” conversation on “Science + Ethics”.
The conversation will cover topics related to some of the latest scientific breakthroughs:
Tools like CRISPR can make an enormous difference to humanity ... and yet it's a bit of a regulatory fiasco. Is there a framework we can use to better understand the ethics of the frontiers of science? Come ready for a purposeful, small group discussion.
