Conexkt introduces new documentary!

Conexkt is thrilled to announce the release of the trailer for Seizing Hope – High Tech Journeys in Pediatric Epilepsy.

For the past year, Conexkt has worked with the Neuroethics team at the University of British Columbia to create a science communication project on the ethical decision-making factors of neurotechnology for children affected by drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE).

After taking the UBC team through a design thinking process, we identified that the best way to reach the need of our audience was to create a short documentary. So we did.

Seizing Hope aims to raise awareness about the options offered by different technologies specifically for the brain in complement or as an alternative to treatment with medication. We compiled the stories of four families with children who have pediatric DRE to shed light on their hope, trust, and empowerment journey.
