Johann Roduit of Conexkt spoke at the Fraser Valley Tech Forum on the Topic “Ethics & Innovation”.

The virtual event was held on Oct 21-22, 2020 and provided the opportunity to e-connect and network with other founders, entrepreneurs, business service providers, peers from the tech industry, and speakers.

The theme of this year’s event was “Resilience & Capital”, in which they have put together a program and had conversations with local startups and businesses, and consulted with partners from “regional municipalities, education institutes, and industry.”

Johann presented on “Ethics & Innovation”, together with Shawn Neumann (Domain7) and John Koetsier (Forbes, TechFirst)

Pitch competition

On the second day of the Fraser Valley Tech Forum, Johann joined Craig Toews (University of the Fraser Valley) and Kaylan Pepin (BDC) as a jury member for the pitch competition. The pitches were scored based on the following factors: Business Model, Team, Presentation, Market Size, and Opportunity.
